A lightweight and spacious camper trailer, the Jayco Swan Outback can sleep up to 6 occupants between its front and rear slide-out beds, club lounge and dinette, and is perfect for growing families looking for affordable adventure.
Equipped with a 95L fridge/freezer, a 4-burner cooktop, generous bench space and ample storage throughout, the Jayco Swan Outback offers an abundance of space, comparable to that found in a full-sized caravan.
For those who don’t have time to watch the full video, we’ve included a step-by-step write-up below.
Step 1: Fold up the canvas curtains, unclip the bed canopy support beam over the front bed and stow it underneath the mattress. Manoeuvre the other support poles down and move the seat cushions to the other bed.
Step 2: Open the wardrobe and unlock the gold lever inside, before gently folding down the wardrobe and folding down the sink tap.
Step 3: Repeat step 1 for the rear bed.
Step 4: Peel off the velcro from around the door, rotate the door clip horizontally, unhook the lower door latch, and rotate the upper door clips. Lift up the top half of the door and secure it to the ceiling with the ceiling hinges. Velcro the protective sleeve over the perspex door window.
Step 5: Moving outside, undo the velcro surrounding the bed and fold the canvas in a triangular shape on top of the rear wall. Lift the rear wall up, remove the support legs from the corners and underneath and stow them under the mattress, before pushing the bed all the way in.
Step 6: Repeat step 5 for the front bed.
Step 7: Attach the crank handle and wind down the roof, making sure to push the canvas inside the frame as you do so, along with the green cables.
Step 8: Check the roof and pull it snug where needed before attaching the roof clips to the hooks, before lifting the handle to secure it in place. Returning to the crank handle, give it a few turns to wind the roof up again and tighten the cables.
Step 9: Remove the crank handle, close the cover and store it securely in the front boot. Take a full tour of the Jayco Swan Outback by clicking the link below, and let Jayco Sydney support you on your next adventure.
